Privacy Policy
Draft status: prepared for development planning in October 2026. The game is not publicly released, and this preview website does not operate a live account or waitlist collection service.
1. Scope
This policy is intended to describe the personal information practices of The Unsigning game and its official support surfaces once they are activated. Features, service providers, retention periods, and contact details that are not yet final must be completed before publication.
2. Information the game may process
- Account information: an account identifier and the age-confirmation record required for players aged 13 and over.
- Gameplay information: saved progress, settings, unlocked content, purchase entitlements, and synchronization state.
- Technical information: device model, operating system, language, app version, crash reports, and performance diagnostics.
- Support information: messages a player chooses to send and the information needed to answer them.
The final policy will identify only the categories actually used by the released build. Categories that are not used will be removed.
3. This preview website
The waitlist form in this local preview is a front-end mock-up. It has no collection service behind it, and information entered in the preview is neither transmitted nor stored by ESTUA. A production website will not activate a form until its collection tool, consent language, retention rule, and unsubscribe process are in place.
4. Purposes
Personal information will be used only for the purposes identified in the final policy, which may include operating accounts and saves, providing purchases and support, preventing fraud and abuse, diagnosing technical problems, and meeting legal obligations.
5. Sharing and service providers
The final published policy will name the categories of service providers used for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payments, and support, and will state whether information is communicated outside Quebec or Canada. No provider should be listed until its role has been confirmed.
6. Retention and deletion
Retention periods will be set by information category before launch. Account deletion will be available through the process described on the Account Deletion page, subject to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup requirements that will be stated plainly in the final text.
7. Choices, rights, and contact
The final policy will explain how to access, correct, withdraw consent for optional uses where applicable, delete an account, and contact the person responsible for privacy. The responsible person’s name and a monitored contact address must be inserted before store submission.
8. Players aged 13 and over
The game is designed for players aged 13 and over. The final policy will describe the age-confirmation process and what happens when a player does not meet the minimum age.
9. Changes
Material changes will be reflected in an updated policy with a new effective date and, when required, notice through the game or official website.
